About LifeAtlas
LifeAtlas: ATS Resume Generator is a free, AI-assisted career productivity tool. It helps users evaluate resumes for Applicant Tracking System (ATS) readiness, compare resumes with job descriptions, identify possible improvements, and prepare resume content aligned with job requirements.
LifeAtlas may be accessed through ChatGPT and supported OpenAI interfaces. Its Model Context Protocol (MCP) service is hosted on Microsoft Azure and uses authorized access.
Information Processed
Depending on the feature used, LifeAtlas processes resume text and information contained in it, such as names, contact details, employment history, education, certifications, skills, and achievements. It may also process job descriptions, job requirements, and instructions supplied by the user, together with technical information reasonably required to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the service.
Users should remove information that is not needed for resume analysis and should not submit government identification numbers, financial credentials, passwords, authentication secrets, health information, or other highly sensitive personal data.
Purposes of Processing
- Analyze resume structure, readability, and estimated ATS readiness.
- Compare a resume with a user-supplied job description.
- Identify relevant skills, keywords, qualification gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Generate user-requested resume recommendations, rewrites, and customization.

LifeAtlas does not independently submit resumes to employers and does not make hiring decisions.
Service Providers, AI Processing, and International Transfers
Information submitted through the integration may pass between OpenAI’s user-facing services and the LifeAtlas MCP service hosted on Microsoft Azure in order to fulfil the user’s request. OpenAI and Microsoft may process information under their respective terms, privacy policies, service configurations, and legal obligations. Information may therefore be processed in jurisdictions outside the user’s country, subject to applicable law and provider arrangements.
No separate promise is made here about whether a third-party platform uses information for model improvement or training. That question is governed by the applicable provider, account type, product settings, and provider terms. LifeAtlas does not claim that resume content is excluded from all infrastructure logs, diagnostics, temporary processing, or backups unless and until that behavior has been technically verified.
Retention and Deletion
LifeAtlas seeks to minimize the information processed and retained. Resume content is submitted for the requested processing activity. The present service configuration does not establish a public, guaranteed retention period covering every operational log, diagnostic record, temporary file, or backup. Such information, where created, is retained only for legitimate operational, security, troubleshooting, legal, or compliance purposes and should not be treated as a permanent resume-storage service.
Users may request information about personal data controlled by the LifeAtlas operator, or request correction or deletion, by contacting hello@janmejay.com. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law and legitimate technical, security, and legal constraints. Data retained independently by OpenAI, Microsoft, or another platform is subject to that provider’s controls and policies.
Security
LifeAtlas uses a cloud-hosted architecture and reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect processed information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
User Rights and Relationship With OpenAI
Subject to applicable data-protection law, users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information controlled by the LifeAtlas operator, raise a privacy concern, or withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis.
LifeAtlas is independently developed and operated by Janmejay Rathore. It is not an official OpenAI product and is not sponsored or endorsed by OpenAI. Use of ChatGPT and related OpenAI services remains governed by OpenAI’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
